We conducted a study in order to compare the use of local and general anesthesia for the treatment of acute ischemic stroke patients and analyze the potential benefits of each method. Medical professionals wanted to assess the feasibility of using local anesthesia on stroke patients while extracting blood clots from the brain due to the extensive recovery period associated with the use of general anesthesia, while also considering the length of time required to administer local anesthetics.

In order to determine the safety and efficacy of this potential treatment option, we conducted a study in which we compared the outcomes in terms of safety and efficacy between the two different strategies among a cohort of patients in a university medical center. The main outcomes of the study included clinical and radiological scores.
